I am new to all of this and so far have only read Black, but let me tell you, it had a profound impact in my life. I had bought it from audible.com several months ago but due to whatever reasons had not listened to it until this past week. While I have been a Christian for many years, my faith has been on the back burner so to speak for quite some time. I knew in my head what I should be doing, but my heart wasn’t in it, even though I was going through the motions. Hearing the words “I love you” spoke to and by Elyon moved me beyond what one would expect and helped me to have a tangible feeling of what God’s love is for me. I am anxiously awaiting my hardback copies of The Circle Trilogy that I ordered from Amazon and just wanted to thank Ted for his part in my renewed zeal for Christ.

It’s been a while since I wrote and talked here. First off: Love the new site! It’s wicked awesome! Secondly: I can’t wait to read Boneman’s Daughters and get House when it comes out on DVD. Now to the reason I’m writing. I had a really bad experience yesterday. My car got broken into and my whole purse with all its contents got taken. Wouldn’t you know that in my purse I had my copy of Adam, I had just started re-reading. I guess I’m gonna have to but iy again since my goal is to get pretty much all the books you have written. I hope that maybe through this God uses that purse, with my 2 Bibles and Adam in it to bring the guy that did it to Himself. Keep up the awesome work on your novels.

I have been a big fan of Ted Dekker for about 2 years. But I must tell you the impact he has had on my life. I have been a Christian for about 8 years, but like every other teenager, I have struggled to give him complete control. When i read Ted Dekkers books, I finally understood Gods love for his chilren. How His heart breaks for them. So to Ted Dekker, i just had to say… Thank you.

  • what other authors would you recomend. my teacher says any more books i read by you won’t count to my grade. so if you have any good fellow authors i’m open to sugestions.

  • Tori Kirkbride says:

I love Ted Dekker. The first book I read was house the one he wrote with Frank Peretti. I was hooked and started reading the circle trilogy. I most of his books. I still have to read the other books of history books about the chosen. I can’t wait to read those and am looking forward to more awesome books by him.

  • Debi says:

Definitely one of my favorite authors. A friend of mine at church is also a fan and has been deployed in Afghanistan for almost a year. One of his requests: Ted Dekker’s books! He reads them, then passes them on to the other men/women stationed with him. Just got Boneman’s Daughters today – can’t wait to read it.

  • Daniel Kline says:

I just bought BoneMan’s Daughters and I am enjoying every second of it!

  • Brittany says:

I need some help! I have just started reading Ted Dekker this year and have already knocked out the Circle Trilogy, Adam, Blink of an Eye, Showdown, and Saint. I am confused about the order his books go in- it seems like they all sort of fit together. Does Sinner come after saint? Do the Chosen, etc books come after the Circle Trilogy? I want to read them in the best order I can…anyone have some help for me? By the way, Ted, I love you stories! They have not only been entertaining, but have impacted my life!

  • Carmen says:

Iam an avid reader of Ted Dekker. Love the circle trilolgy, heaven series, etc. Just finished Boneman’s Daughter. Great story! I was not quite sure about the ending though. Did Boneman die? Who was the person who sent him the letter to inform him that she was his real daughter? These are questions to drive a fan mad. Also just watched House. I was let down. It contained none of the references to the spiritual battle between evil and God, not just some random “light”. ThrEe was better but keep tryin.

  • Michelle Carter says:

I just wanted, no NEED, to find out how to get the missing pages (1149-1164) from my “The Circle Trilogy” hardcover that were NOT PRINTED!!!! I am DYING here!! I don’t want to say too much and ruin it for those still reading, but it was just tying everything together, and then … NOTHING!! I have to get ready for work, but I think I will check the library on my way home. If anyone one else has had this issue, please advise. I am sure I am not the only printing with the missing pages. And yes, this is one book I will read again and again…not to mention my daughter wants to read it now as well!! Thanx for your help, and “Elyon’s Strength” to everyone!!!! (I am HOOKED!!!!!!!)

  • adam says:

dude your books are frickennnnnnnnnn sweet !!!!!!!! the bone mans daughter and house are my favorite!!!!!and im reading adam now…

  • mike says:

u know wut rinks me off, my school used to be obsessed (good one i know:P)with ted dekker, and now the teachers have gotten mad that that’s all we read, so now we’re only allowed to read 2 of your books PER YEAR!! lame, but i really loved your books, i have all the ones that r out and all the ones to come :) , and im like the only true ted dekker fan in our whole school, so im pretty proud of that :D

Hi , I have read the Circle books and really enjoyed them. My question now is , were they part of a series that I have missed or are they stand alone books.
    Thank you,
    Windy

  • kathy says:

I have read all of your books except your latest. My first book was HOUSE. I was into reading a lot of books on serial killers, because I had been afraid of this issue and my sister, being a lisenced clinical social worker, intrigued me. I read a lot of her books etc, because I felt I had to understand from the Lord’s perspective, what I was afraid of. It helped.

However, my main point is that because I love Christian music, and that is the only thing I have listened to since 1986, is that the song “Be My Escape” by Reliant K on the WOW 2006 album, is THE PERFECT theme song for this book. It was, as was your book in getting me out of a rut I was in.

I had lost my very important job during 911. I was a computer analyst for a very big company making almost 6 figures. I lost my job and went to live at my twin sister’s house.

She was glad to have me at first, but as you know how sisters can be. there was conflict.

I have been a long time believer, though not perfect, though I read the word with relish, and cherished my personal relationship with my saviour.

However, prior to this, I asked HIM to make me HIS no matter what, whatever it takes. This was because I still felt there was something missing, or I had reached a plateau, and wasn’t going any further.

Anyway, despite the 7 years that I could not find reputable employment because I was over qualified (there were no businesses centrally located in Pensacola, I was a mindrange programmer, not a pc programmer) — I barely fed myself and paid for gas. MANUEL LABOR was my new employer. But this was God’s plan for me.

He had major reconstruction in mind. He healed me to promote HIS ways to be formed in me with great love.

However, the book HOUSE, was indicative to my position and feelings at the time. It helped uncover generational problems in my life that I was blind to.

The song ” Be my Escape” by reliant K, reminded me of the book I read of yours, “House”, and listening to it over and over again, I believe, helped me refuse what is not God’s character in my life, and choose what is HIS.

Thank you for this, and I hope, Ted Dekker, you get this message. I hope you identify with this song, with your book and it’s message. To me it is a very powerful one.

Thanks so much for your contribution to all those who believe and will choose.

    Kathy

  • BDONE says:

Thank you so much Mr Dekker,
Your Trilogy Black, Red and White has moved me beyond words. I think sometimes we just need to be reminded that God is real.. just as Justin was.. that Jesus lived on earth and suffered like we do. And also reminded that one day he (Jesus) will look upon us as his brides when he comes.

I cannot wait to look into his eyes, whatever color they may be and marry him for eternity.
Thank you so much once more… you have given me a reason to better understand my Bible and know truly what to do to help my self and this destroyed world of ours.
    GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS

  • Tina says:

I have read the Circle Trilogy, and can’t wait to read Green. This is an awesome example of how God brings our lives in a full circle that emanates in His love and redeeming grace. The greatest thing about His love and grace is that it has no beginning or end; like a cirle.

    I just read BoneMan’s Daughters-awesome!!
It demonstrates how important family is-regardless of being born into the family or adopted. To think God went through similar extremes to keep us in His family. He suffered sending His only Son to the cross so we could be adopted into the family. LOVE!!!!!
It had to be very hard for God to give His only Son to save us from the wickedness of Satan. As a Father (God,not me), I can hardly imagine the tears and anguish He shed on the day His Son died on the cross. BoneMan’s Daughters shows that kind of anguish demonstrated in a man’s love for his daughter. Keep up the good work Ted :)

I’ve read a few of your novels and I keep reading all the feedback on your site and fellow Ted Dekker readers. I’m the type that likes to analyze people and their reactions. One of the blessings I savor in life is seeing people utilizing their gifts that God has given them. The closest thing I can compare your gift to is modern-day parable telling. I once was told that a parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Keeping in mind that heaven is our main focus in life, these parables that God has blessed you to tell has obviously blessed many lives and turned many to focus on their Glorious Creator and the promise of new life He’s given. Obsession has a way of being contagious. Thank you for pursuing God relentlessly with this passion. Sometimes the hope others have is the only beacon the lost need. God bless you and your work.

  • Manni Ratliff says:

Hey there, Mr.Dekker! I’ve read all of the Books of History Chronicles from Black to Chosen to Sinner and I LOVED them! I saw that there are new books in the chosen series and I also can’t wait for Green!

Amazing auther. I’ve read any Dekker book I can get my hands on. The books really opened my eyes to the truth, and at one point even broke me. Now I am considered “the debater” in my college bible study class. It’s all thanks to the man who has a passion to write about good and evil.

    Thanks Ted
    ~Josh

After reading all those crappy books they make you read in high school they’ve been making people read since the 50′s, I put down books and decided reading wasn’t for me. 6 years after school is over and my friend hands me a copy of Thr3e. I dont think I put it down until I finished reading it. If only you were the one I had to book study. Keep up the great work, not that you need a reminder

  • Dana Barry says:

I have been reading your books since the beginning of sxth grade. I am now a freshman in high school! My friend Avery got me into your books. I have read almost every single one of your books. I only have maybe 2 or 3 left to read before Green come out. I am also a Dekkie on FaceBook.

  • Mr. Dekker, the ministry I am part of works with many youth who are on probation and parole. One of the programs we offer is a high school diploma for those who have dropped out ofpublic school. One of our teachers ran across your works at Mardel bookstore in Houston, Texas – our school is in Pasadena. Would you be available to speak to the students – even by phone would be an honor and encouragement for them. Thank you for using your gift!
