The wait is over. Green, Book Zero of Ted’s best-selling Circle Series, releases today in stores everywhere.
The story of how Thomas Hunter first entered the Black Forest and forever changed our history began at a time when armies were gathered for a final battle in the valley of Migdon. Green is a story of love, betrayal, and sweeping reversals set within the apocalypse. It is the beginning: the truth behind a saga that has captured the imagination of more than a million readers with the Books of History Chronicles.
But even more, Green brings full meaning to the Circle Series as a whole, reading as both prequel to Black and sequel to White, completing a full circle. This is Book Zero, the Circle Reborn, both the beginning and the end. The preferred starting point for new readers . . . and the perfect climax for the countless fans who’ve experienced Black, Red, and White.

I happened across the Circle trilogy by accident a few years ago and immediately was drawn in to the series and they probably rank very close to the top of my “best books I EVER read” list. (I’m torn from one week to the next whether Stephen King’s Dark Tower series is the best or The Circle series is. LOL)
I preordered Green MONTHS ago, when I first heard it was going to be released. It was just shipped today so in two or three days I’ll have it.
My plan is to read all the Circle books back to back, starting with Green, and then rereading it again at the end to see how it feels as a sequel AND a prequel.
The Circle Trilogy captured my heart a long time ago, and now hearing that the story continues with a beginning and an end just totally blows my mind away! I remember jumping up and down for joy when I found out there was going to be another book(and that is a rare thing to see).
I know this ending wont disappoint me at all, I am excited and thirsty to dive back into the world of Thomas Hunter!
This is by far one of my favorite series to read and get entirely lost in
I think the cricle is one of the best trilogies and one of the best books i have read period. So many emotions flow through you when your read these books. As soon as i am done with Sinner I will be reading Green.
I went into a Christian book store looking for something to read, the salesman recommended a few books, I told him I was looking for mystery, he recommended Black, he also told me I might want to buy Red and White right then because he was sure I would want to continue the story as soon as I finished Black, well I said Black was enough for now, to my suprise I read the book in two days and ran back to get the other two. I gave them to my grandson who also read them in record time, I am very excited to read Green, the final story on my favorite character Thomas Hunter. This is by far the best series of books I have ever read, I can’t get enough of Ted’s books. I am a fan for life.
When my mother handed me Black and White (alas, Red is still at the library) I was uncertain at first, but I just read the first one in one night. Now I’m hooked–I’m so happy to finally find a riveting graphic novel that I can read without worrying about the content! I’m excited to hear there’s more, and I’m putting all of Ted Dekker’s books on my wishlist!
I am so excited to read this book! Black, Red and White are some of the most amazing books I have ever read. They helped me to see God and his love in a whole new, and awesome way. Thank you Ted for writing these and all of your books! You are my favorite author. God is using you in amazing ways. Keep up the good work, and keep the books coming! I am running out of ones that I haven’t read!
Although,it never hurts to read them over, and over, and over….
I just finished reading the Circle trilogy, I read in the back about this web cite. I didnt think I would find another book added onto the seris. Im excited to get it, but it might be a while, I know it will be as great as the otehr ones! I still have a whole lot of books to read from him, but they are books that I will be proud to own!!!!!
I was very skeptical when I heard that Green was the beginning AND the end of my beloved Circle Trilogy. How could that be? So I snatched Green up and read it in two days, pushing my engineering homework aside. This book is fantastic! I very recently read the Circle Trilogy for the second time, otherwise I’d read them again now! Oh, and did anybody else who read Green see all those clever ties into Showdown and some other Circle books? Ted Dekker is a master.
wasnt Miggdon spellled with two gs in Green? its spelled with one above? …Yep just checked, its got two gs in the book
Thank you Ted Dekker! All five of us have enjoyed the Circle Trilogy. You have inspired our 16 year old daughter to pursue writing, and our 14 year old son to read (he has never enjoyed reading, but yesterday he couldn’t put Chaos down. Our 12 year old son just began Chosen and was hooked immediately. We look forward to Green and wish you all the best!
I just finished White, it felt like watching Prison Break, adrenaline all the way, oh my!
U mean there’s more? GREEN!
I’m going to my bookstore today to get that!!!
